Patient Angry Lion

2022

Morad's third lion sculpture represents a return to his fascination with movable art. Originally designed with a flexible spine for side-to-side movement, the concept had to be adapted due to the limitations of working with wood in prison. Constructed in four major parts that can be easily assembled and disassembled, this piece showcases Morad's innovative approach to sculpture under constraints. The lion's posture and expression embody the complex emotions of patience and anger that Morad experienced during his imprisonment.
