During his time in Evin Prison, Morad secretly corresponded with Jane Goodall—who had taken an interest in his and the other imprisoned environmentalists’ case and strongly advocated for their release—via handwritten letters. Her notes were a great source of inspiration and hope. In September of 2024, Morad was finally able to meet and spend an afternoon with her.
